The Founder: Rev. Dr. Calantha Asaré
Rev. Dr. Asare' was given the vision for Wise Virgins Ministries in January of 2002. This vision was comfirmed by the fast track on which the Holy Spirit operated to bring about fruition. In February 2002, WVM achieved Non-profit status, in March of 2002 the initial program aired; by August of 2002, WVM was awarded tax exempt status. Rev. Dr. Asare' is the mother of two, the grandmother of five and the great-grandmother of two. Having been married, divorced,and a single mom raising two sons has provided Reverend Asare' with tremendous insights through on the job training. God has placed on her heart a burden to help ensure that single Christians, as well as struggling women whether married or single, would have access to Christ-centered alternatives for daily living and confronting Spiritual and worldly issues.

Minister and Evangelist Rev. Dr. Calantha Asare' was born and raised in Detroit Michigan, and is a product of the Detroit Public School System. Rev. Dr. Asare' holds a Bachelor's Degree in Management of Health Services & Gerontology from Spring Arbor Christian University; a Master's Degree in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University; as well as Bachelor and Master's degrees in Theology from Destiny Christian University. Rev. Dr. Asare completed the PhD program at Destiny in June of 2009.
